The Do's and Don'ts of Pitching

General Assembly presents the Do's and Don'ts of Pitching, with Rachel Azaroff. 

As an entrepreneur, you're constantly competing for the attention of investors. It is critical that you claim your three minutes of air time to make a dynamic and long-lasting impression on potential investors.

This workshop will take you through a practical and hands-on approach to pitching, providing you with exercises, activities, examples and opportunity to work on your pitching skills.

Rachel Azaroff, Senior Associate at Alliance of Angels, is a 2014-2015 K&L Gates Fellow. She is currently pursuing her MBA at the Foster School of Business, University of Washington. Prior to her MBA, Rachel was in Washington, D.C. where she worked at Deloitte and supported technical clients with strategic communications and outreach. Her background in entrepreneurship includes working at a start-up and co-chairing the 2014 UW Business Plan Competition. Rachel holds at B.A. from the University of Maryland.

This class will cover:

-Practical activities to improve key skills
-Practice your own pitch and hear others
-Exposure to best case example of investor pitches
