IxDA Seattle Mentorship Program is a pilot initiative to connect interaction designers at any stages of their career with the right design mentors. Our program serves both mentors and mentees, creating an enriching learning environment that fosters growth, inspires innovation, and shapes the future of the design industry. We encourage designers with all levels of experience to apply for this program.

Through this program, we aspire to create a community of designers that uplift each other through building meaningful connections, growing together, enabling work opportunities and career advancement, and navigating challenges with the help of your peers and seniors.

Resources for Mentors

As a mentor, you will get the opportunity to contribute significantly to the professional journey of aspiring designers. You will provide guidance and share your insights, playing a vital role in shaping the next generation of interaction designers. Your involvement will not only nurture the career progression of your mentees, but also offers you a chance to reflect, gain fresh perspectives, and further enrich your leadership abilities.

If you are open to being a mentor, we truly appreciate your commitment. With your consent, we would love to recognize your contribution by featuring you on IxDA Seattle's website and social media platforms.

For Mentees

As a mentee, you will gain valuable guidance from established professionals, acquire practical insights, and have the opportunity to navigate the complexities of interaction design through direct, one-on-one mentorship. Whether you're a recent graduate, looking to refine your skills, or considering a career shift, our mentorship program offers an unparalleled chance to grow and advance your career under the tutelage of seasoned experts.
