Design-thinking workshops are back!

We're thrilled to welcome Substantial and Factor to this year's day of design-thinking workshops as part of the Seattle Design Festival

About the workshops

Drawing inspiration from the festival’s theme of Design in Health, this year’s hands-on workshops delve into collaborative processes for both ideation and agility while using the challenging and important field of healthcare as a case study.

In the Factor workshop, Designing Integrated Patient Experiences, you’ll form teams to work rapidly through design challenges involving a mobile application, provider facilities and staff, kiosks, scheduling, insurance and billing.

The Substantial workshop, Designing for a Healthcare Movement: How to Get to a Minimum Viable Product Now, will teach methods and offer real-time practice in navigating agile development in a collaborative, effective manner.

While the topic of health provides a compelling case study, you do not need to work in a health-related field to benefit from the workshops.  In fact, all levels of experience and interest in both design and health are welcome to attend.

So join us on Saturday, September 14 for one or both workshops.  More information and registration at:
